A cavalcade of promises,

That bless us all at birth;

All our desires and wishes,

Gripped firmly in its teeth.

Some are fulfilled, others remain,

For as long as we live,

They stay in the queue, well maintained;

And is waiting to give

The promise from birth to us each.

And regarding myself,

A promised pledge fulfilled was reached;

and from which, thus heartfelt,

I say this oath from life came true;

Bringing wisdom and joy-
